LIV GOLF ??

Does anyone have anything to say about Jon Rahm going over to the breakaway golf circuit of LIV?He has finally succombed to the mega rich ARABS /SAUDI'S they are giving him £450 MILLION POUNDS to go and play on their circuit , This after he said he would never join them , it looks like the old phrase "Money Talks " I do like watching all the Majors and i used to play (try) I just find that all this is just money washing /laundering for these filthy rich Arabs ,they are doing it in football with Newcastle ect i personaly don't like nor care for it .

I was very surprised as you say he had been a strong critic in the past but I suppose everyone has their price, another big scalp for them, now every quote condemning the LIV golf circuit he has uttered will be published.
It is reputation washing rather than money washing and on the football front there is talk of rather than buying individual clubs and pumping money in they are going all out to transform their own middle eastern leagues lock stock and barrel by buying all the world's top players, it will be interesting to see how it all pans out.

I was more than surprised at the news but as chatty says everyone has a price although he surely must be worth a few million sovs .
I see the crowds for footie games in Saudi are less than 1,000 in the top league .
Must be strange for the likes of Henderson and others to be playing in front of meagre crowds after playing in front of large P L ones .
